Barra Square fronting the Ama Temple in the Inner Harbour

 Macau

Macau

Coast road from Macao-Taipa Bridge, to São Tiago da Barra
Fortress and recently all the way to of A-Ma Temple.

This area extends along the edge of the Praia Grande to Praia do Bom Parto,
including Ave. Doutor Mario Soares, Ave. Praia Grande and Ave. de Republica.

Starting in the 19th century, the Portuguese constructed many European-style
buildings
in this area and, with the banyans along the shore, it became
one of the most beautiful shorelines in Southeast Asia, attracting many
tourists.

 Macau

Quite a number of movie companies have come to this area in the past to
film against this beautiful backdrop. More land has been reclaimed and
two artificial lakes have been built due to recent land-reclamation projects.
